SOUL PATROL!!!
So Taylor HIcks is the new American Idol! Woo-hoo! America definitely got it right (well, aside from that whole "voting Chris Daughtry off" thing...) but anyway, the best part was after he had been declared winner, when Seacrest asked him if he had any words for the audience, and he just screamed "SOOOOULLLL PATRRRROOOOLLL!!!!". :)
Other than that, it was a very entertaining finale (with the exception of Prince's surprise appearance at the end, which briefly pulled the show to a slimy and dirty place). Carrie Underwood proved that she deserved to win last year, Daughtry sounded way better than Live's lead singer, Meatloaf was weird (did anyone else think McPhee looked scared of him?), and Clay Aiken now looks like a Beatle.
Thus ends another season of American Idol.
Now what will I do? :/

i'm glad taylor won too. He's no typical american idol but he's an entertainer and i got real tired of my Mcpheever.
If she made a cd it would be really boring, but I'm interested to hear what kind of cd Taylor comes out with

That was like the first time I ever watched american idol. It was a very good show. Great performances!! I was glad that Taylor won as well. Good to see some gray hair for an american idol.

I don't know, any Beatle. He just had the dark, mop-top bowlcut thing. :)
